Creating & Cuing Graphics
The easiest way to create new graphics in Script Elephant is to navigate to the script section where you first want it to appear, and add a cue for it there. The cue editor allows you to create the details for your graphic.

Click + Add Cue to create a new cue. From this window, you toggle on the switch for whichever subdepartments you would like to create graphics for.

Once toggled, you will be able to cue an existing graphic or create a new graphic.
Cue an existing graphic
To cue an existing graphic, choose a graphic from the Graphic drop-down menu:

Create a new graphic
To create a new graphic, select Create New Graphic…. This opens an inline graphic editor. From here, you can change settings in three categories:
General
Choose a Graphic Type. If you want to customize your list of graphic types, see Graphic Types.

Graphic Content
If you want to specify text content that should be entered onto the graphic, then enter that into the appropriate fields

Advanced Settings
- Graphic Name will be automatically chosen from your Graphic Content Title, but you can also write another name here.
- Creative Note is where you can leave special instructions for your creative team. For example, you can use the formatting tools to mock up a layout. You can also leave links to any source assets that the creative team may need to reference.

Other Options
- Graphic number is an automatically generated unique number to help you identify this graphic. It will automatically use the next available number if you leave this blank.
- Department Note is for any special instructions you want to leave for your graphics operator when they are playing back this graphic.
When you are done adding and editing your cue, click Add Cue at the bottom of the window. Your cue(s) will now appear at the top of the cued section.

Creating new graphics manually
You also have the option to create graphics without using the cue editor. This is helpful if you want to create graphics in advance.
To do this, navigate to your Graphics Table. At the bottom, click the Add Graphic button.
