Managing Users

In Script Elephant, we encourage best security practices by allowing you to add an unlimited number of users, free of charge. This allows you to give every stakeholder their own secure account & credentials, without worrying about any financial impact.

Our per-production permissions structure allows you to create accounts for a wide variety of roles, from full-time staff to one-time contractors:

Staff & leaders on your team
Script writers
Graphics entry teams
On-site production technicians
Clients & outside stakeholders
Speakers
Other guests

In addition, each role is assigned based on that production. This means that you can grant broad permissions to a team member on one production, but limit them highly on another.

Creating Users

To invite a new user to your server, click your profile icon on the bottom-right corner of the screen, and then choose Settings.

On the Users tab, choose Add User and fill out the form.

Email notifications

Note that as soon as you click Create, that user will receive an email notification inviting them to setup their new account.

Editing Users

To edit an existing user on your server, follow the steps above to get to your user settings. Find a user from the table and choose Edit from the right-hand column.
